Please i need help this is do mon. for math and if i won't get it right i'll get a 0% i am already 68%

A flower shop charges a $10 delivery fee and $1.50 per rose.

a. Write an expression that can be used to calculate the total cost for purchases

'r' roses:__________________

b. Use your expression to find the total cost of 2 dozen roses:

please help!!!!!!!

Please i need help this is do mon. for math and if i won't get it right i'll get a 0% i am already 68%
A. 10$ + R x 1,50

10$ , because you'll have to pay that without buying any roses.

and 1,50 x R because the number of times you buy a rose (R)

Determines how much you'll have to pay

B. 10 + (24 x1,50) = 46

36+10=46$

You'll have to pay 46 dollars for 2 dozen roses
Reply:10 + 1.50r, let r = # of roses

2 dozen roses = 24 roses

so plug in 24 for r in the equation

10 + 1.50(24)

10 + 36

46

so it costs $46 for 2 dozen roses
Reply:a. 10+1.5r

b. substituting: 10+1.5(24)=10+36=$46

$46
Reply:The total cost is: $10 plus $1.50 for each rose purchased

So, if r roses are purchased, the total cost, C, is

C = $10 + $1.50 x r.

If 2 dozen ( that`s 24) roses are purchased, then:

C = $10 + $1.50 x 24, so

C = $10 + $36, so

C = $46.

Hope this helps, Twiggy.
Reply:a. $1.50r +$10

b. $1.50(24) + $10 = $46
Reply:Perhaps you should start working a little harder in Math. How are you going to pass the test if yahoo answers gives you the assignment questions?

Sigh anyway,

a. cost=1.5*r+10

b. 1.5*24+10=$46
Reply:a: 'r' roses: $10 + $1.50r

$10(delivery fee) plus r times $1.50

b. 2 dozen = 24 roses = 'r'

$10 + $1.50 x 24 = $10 + $36 = $46

do u understand(: if not,ask again,i'll explain
Reply:P(for r roses)= 10+(1.50)r

P(12 roses)=10+(1.50)*24

=10+36=$46 ans
Reply:a) since there is always a $10 charge that number does not change. each rose costs $1.50 so that is where your variable will go:

cost=10+1.50r

b) plug in 24 where there is an 'r':

cost=10+1.50(24)

cost= 10+36

cost=$46
Reply:The answer is quite simple. Since the delivery charge is always $10 you have to add that to the total amount for the r flowers so:

n = 1.5r+10

where n is the total amount of money owed.

dozen= 12

so answer b. is n= 1.5(r)+10

=1.5(24)+10

= $46
