Need to do something nice for my wife from far away, ideas?

I'm deployed to Afghanistan and my wife and I have had a hard time lately. I truly love her and want to do something to show it even though I'm stuck over here. I need a good idea that goes beyond the usual flower delivery type stuff. Little help please...

This is really hard for you to do, but if you knew of a beauty salon or nice hotel that had a salon that gave beauty treatments, like massages, that would be very nice. You could pay for an entire beauty treatment--nails, pedicure, massage or just facial massage. A European facial massage is very nice and a very nice gift. You might need to contact one of her girlfriends or some other woman who knows the best places to go in your hometown. Very sweet of you. Hope everything works out positively for you both. And...thanks for being there protecting all of us in the USA. You are my hero. Take care.

I'm sorry you two are having a hard time ... I can't imagine being in the position you two are in. Good luck to you..and be safe. I'm sure she'll be waiting for you.
Reply:Try something very personal and from the heart. How about writing a poem? or make a list of all the things you love about her and send it to her.


If all else fails ask her Mom or best friend for help.
